Honey the way the bees made it — raw, unheated, unblended.

Kanna Natural Honey is harvested by our own beekeepers from the forests and farmlands around Kurnool. We cold-filter it once to take out the wax, and that is the only thing we do to it. No sugar syrup. No heating. No blending with imported honey.

Our honey

Six honeys, six different flowers

Each variety comes from a single flowering season. That is why they taste, pour and crystallise differently — exactly as real honey should.

Why it matters

Most honey sold in India is not really honey

Commercial honey is often heated to 60–70 °C so it pours clear and never crystallises, then filtered so finely that the pollen — the one thing that proves where it came from — is stripped out. Some of it is diluted with invert sugar syrup that standard tests cannot catch.

We took the opposite route. Our honey crystallises in winter. It varies in colour from batch to batch. It smells like the flowers it came from. Those are not defects — they are the proof.

  • Cold filtered through a mesh only — pollen stays in
  • Single-origin batches, never blended to a uniform taste
  • Bottled in small lots, so nothing sits in a warehouse
  • You can call Kuruva Sunkanna and ask which hive your jar came from

The 3 quick checks

Before you buy honey from anyone — including us — do this:

  1. Smell it. Real honey smells of flowers and wax. Syrup smells of nothing.
  2. Leave it in winter. Raw honey crystallises. Honey that stays syrupy for years has been processed.
  3. Taste the finish. Real honey leaves a slight scratch at the back of the throat. Sugar syrup leaves only sweetness.

Our promise

Judge us on things you can check

We would rather you test the honey than take our word for it.

It will crystallise

Leave a jar through the cold months and it will turn grainy. Processed honey never does. If ours stays syrupy all winter, tell us — something is wrong.

We will name the apiary

Call 9989249149 with the batch on your label and we will tell you which apiary and which flowering season it came from. No trader in between to ask.

Not right? Tell us

If a jar arrives broken or leaking, send a photo on WhatsApp within 48 hours and we replace it free. Unopened jars can be returned within 7 days.

Questions? Talk to the beekeeper.

Kuruva Sunkanna answers the WhatsApp himself. Ask about a variety, a bulk order, gifting, or which honey suits your household — you will get a straight answer, not a script.
